Medical
Employees have the option of choosing from three Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plans; including two consumer driven plans that offer lower premium rates. These plans are offered by a trusted, national leading healthcare insurance company with a comprehensive provider network. All of the plan options provide emergency room coverage, office co-pays, and three-tier prescription drug programs and are designed to empower the employee to take a preventative approach to their own health.
Vision
CrossCom National offers a vision plan that provides annual coverage for exams, lenses and contacts, and bi-annual coverage for frames. Our vision provider offers an extensive national network of optometrists and vision care specialists. In addition, employees that enroll in one of our three medical options will be enrolled in our vision plan at no additional cost.
Dental
Employees may choose from two dental Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) options. The plans offer customary coverage with higher benefit coverage when using an in-network dentist but still have the flexibility of going to a dentist of their choice and having some benefit coverage. Our provider has a national network of dental professionals.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Employees are offered the opportunity to participate in Flexible Spending Accounts that result in reduced taxable income, while extending purchasing power for health care and dependent care expenses. These are employee savings accounts that are accumulated by pretax dollar contributions through convenient payroll deductions:
- Health Care Spending Account: Employees may use this benefit to be
reimbursed for out-of- pocket healthcare expenses incurred by you
or your eligible dependents that are not reimbursable
through any other benefit. Some examples of eligible expenses are deductibles,
co-pays, prescription eyeglasses, vision exams and dental expenses.
- Dependent Care Spending Account: Employees may use this benefit to be reimbursed for expenses incurred to care for your eligible dependents to enable you to be employed. Some examples of eligible expenses are child daycare and elder care.
Disability and Salary Continuance
In the event that an employee becomes medically disabled and is unable to work, CrossCom National provides short-term and long-term disability insurance which replaces a percentage of your gross earnings, less income you may receive from other sources. This benefit is made available to our employees after one year of service and at no cost to the employee.
Life and AD&D (Accidental Death and Dismemberment)
CrossCom National offers a base amount of life insurance for all fulltime regular employees. In addition, employees have the option to purchase additional life insurance at various levels for themselves, spouse and children at a discounted group rate.
401K Savings Plan
CrossCom National encourages our employees to plan for their future. This includes financial planning and management. CrossCom National offers a 401K retirement savings plan allowing employees to make contributions on a tax deferred basis. Through payroll deduction, employees may contribute up to the IRS annual maximum into our 401K retirement plan. Employees may make contributions immediately upon hire. In addition, CrossCom National provides discretionary matching funds after one year of service to participating employees. Employees become fully vested after completing 6 years of service. Employees are also eligible to contribute additional catch-up contributions, subject to IRS maximums. Employees have a variety of investment options and may enroll, increase, decrease, change investment funds, or discontinue contributions at any time. Our provider has exceptional web-based enrollment, planning and account management tools to assure employees are able to best optimize their benefit.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
CrossCom National has an Employee Assistance Program that offers confidential counseling and referrals for personal, family, financial, health or work-related support to employees at no additional cost. This support program is supported by professional resources that can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Employees can obtain support by calling a toll free number or using convenient web access.
Tuition Assistance
CrossCom National offers a competitive grade-based tuition assistance program for employees who attend an accredited university and are participating in a degreed program that is relevant to our workplace. This benefit is eligible to employees immediately upon hire and does have generous annual reimbursement limits.
Matching Gift Program
Many of our employees volunteer their time and make financial donations for non-for-profit organizations. Upon 6 months of service, employees may request matching gift donations for qualified non-profit, civic and service-minded organizations. Some examples include schools, hospitals, cultural institutions, civic organizations, and national charities.
Health/Fitness Assistance
CrossCom National believes in partnering with our employees who value a commitment to fitness. All regular, fulltime employees may participate in a health/fitness club assistance program in which the company provides 50% of monthly membership cost up to a monthly maximum. Employees are eligible for this benefit immediately upon hire.
